It is with a heavy heart that we start accepting the realization that Donna Barrett is retiring after 15 years with CloudCorp. We have been lucky to have her here but wish her well as she starts the next chapter of retirement.

Position Description

Administrative Assistant


Position Description: CloudCorp, Cloud County’s Economic Development Agency, is seeking applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant. This position is responsible for assisting the Executive Director in managing the activities of CloudCorp and for providing administrative support for the president of the Concordia Chamber of Commerce.

Job Accountabilities:

  1. Primary phone coverage.

  2. Manage all bookkeeping, payroll, member billing, and bill paying for CloudCorp and the Chamber of Commerce.

  3. Prepare and mail all US/UPS/Fed Ex packages.

  4. Sort and distribute incoming mail.

  5. Oversee all aspects of office maintenance, upkeep and inventory.

  6. Oversee all administrative aspects of seminars and meetings including registrations, confirmations, certificates, badges & evaluations, preparation and mailing of materials.

  7. Assist CloudCorp Executive Director in the planning and execution of the Annual Luncheon and Annual Meetings.

  8. Filing of materials in general files area.  

  9. Assist CloudCorp Executive Director and Chamber of Commerce President in developing and instituting methods for quality control and accuracy in membership, conference, and other databases.

  10. May be called upon to assist with special projects and assume responsibility for the development, administration, and promotion of specific projects, as required

  11. Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications: Must have the ability to handle confidential information and willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement. Must have the ability to communicate accurately and clearly both orally and in writing; pleasant telephone manner; customer service oriented and an eager approach to work. Knowledge of computers; specifically, experience in Microsoft Office and Quick Books is essential. Must have superior organizational skills and accuracy. Excellent problem solving and people skills also required.


Relationships: The Administrative Assistant is responsible to the Executive Director of CloudCorp for all of the duties and responsibilities listed above and for other duties that the Executive Director may assign during the duration of the employment. Because of his/her involvement in matters related to their responsibilities the Administrative Assistant would also be required to communicate frequently with the President of the Concordia Chamber of Commerce.
