Kansas WorkforceOne hosted a job fair this morning at Cloud County Community College for high school students looking for employment after graduation. Many of our local businesses were in attendance. Ginny Prickett, Youth Development Coordinator, told me that the funding came from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation. They are hopeful to host a similar event next year and attract even more area high school students. Providing opportunties for employment is essential in keeping our young talent in the area. Thanks to all who participated and we hope more will next year.
