On-call juvenile intake worker
This position consists of approximately 124-144 contracted hours per month. Applicant needs to be available days, evenings, and/or weekends. Applicant will work closely with Law Enforcement throughout the judicial district (Cloud, Washington, Republic, Jewell, Mitchell, Lincoln counties). Applicant would need ability to assess situation of youth and family, provide recommendations for appropriate placement, and arrange for alternative placements when necessary. Applicant must be over 21 years of age and have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Educational degree preferred in behavioral science, counseling, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, or closely related field. Skills would include excellent communication, time management, and knowledge of crisis intervention. Applicant will submit to a background check.
