The Concordia Police Department is seeking to fill the position of full-time Communications/Records Specialist (Dispatcher). This position provides two-way radio communication for public safety departments; 911 emergencies and administrative telephone service for citizens in the City of Concordia and maintains agency records.
Interested persons must meet the following minimum requirements: Be at least 18 years of age; no criminal convictions; good typing and communication skills; pass a written examination, oral board interview and in-depth criminal history and past employment background check. Computer experience a plus.

The City of Concordia Department of Public Works is seeking to fill the position of Municipal Service Worker. Job description available at City Hall.
Essential functions: operate small tractors and equipment, assist in the maintenance or construction of streets, alleys, storm sewers, and traffic control devices, operate dump trucks, perform manual labor on projects and maintenance duties, may assist shop mechanic on repairs to department vehicles and equipment.

WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
The City of Concordia Utility Department is seeking to fill the position of full-time Lab Tech.
Interested applicants must meet the following minimum requirements: Possess, or be able to obtain a valid Class C Kansas Drivers License and valid Commercial Drives License; the ability to possess KDHE Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator Certification at the Class III Level required within two (2) years of employment.
This position is responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Facility and is responsible for daily lab reports and analysis of samples.
